A lot has happened in the last 3 months. Here's a recap of what has been happening with the Bonella's. Shane received his license for the state of Oregon. He is an official licensed Mental Health Therapist and along with being official he also started a new job with Options of Southern Oregon. He is now working with adults in the outpatient unit. He has really enjoyed the last 3 months and he says it's a nice change from working in residential with the youth. He misses the youth, but having less stress on the job is all worth the change. I'm proud of his accomplishments and for continuing on even when life gets ruff. End of January my mom got married to a man she met shortly after my dad passed. He is a nice man, his name is Ron. This past year has been hard adjusting to change in our family, but seeing my mom happy and keeping busy makes me happy knowing she is not alone. It will take some time to heal but sometimes change helps a person move forward, I know this is what my dad would want my mom to do. End of January we had a new addition to the Ryan Holwege family, Jonah Todd Holwege. He is the cutest little thing, his smile melts your heart. Oh, how I would love to have a little one just like him. In February Shane and I put an offer on a house here in Grants Pass. We decided since Shane has started a new job we will probably be here for a while and felt it was time to make that big purchase. A little scary, but we feel this house is the right one for us. It's a short sale, so we are playing the waiting game right now. Will keep you posted. Early March Shane and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary, we celebrated with yummy food from the Roadhouse in Medford, did a little shopping and had a relaxing afternoon. It's crazy how fast 5 years went. At the end of March Shane turned the big 40. We invited some friends over, played games and munched on a few goodies (added a few pounds in the process). Another addition to the Holwege family entered the world last evening, my brother Nathan and his wife Stephanie gave birth to the smallest miracle, 3 pounds 6 oz little boy. He is so cute and it'samazing how fragile and small they really can be. I know babies are born even smaller, but to have it hit so close to home makes you really think that life is just a miracle all on it's own and how wonderful it really is. And last but not least I had to share my Jack. He's due for a haircut, but a good bath, dry and brush makes him all nice and fluffy. Can't you just squeeze him? Well, that's it. Thanks for stopping by and getting an update form the Bonella's.
